Poster Session Opportunities
The Clean Coal and Power Conference will feature a poster session during the reception on Monday evening, November 21, 2005. The session will highlight specific technologies and concepts that have the potential to encourage the use of coal in a clean and efficient manner.

The Conference provides an opportunity to showcase the unique features and capabilities of your organization and network with hundreds of attendees from the coal and power sector, including international peers and decision-makers from private industry (power, industrial, and equipment and engineering firms) as well as various government agencies.
Our conference structure guarantees that your display will receive maximum visibility, including:
- Two continental breakfasts, four refreshment breaks, and a reception will be held in the exhibit/poster area.
- Posters will be the primary focus of a 2-hour session during the reception.
- The exhibit/poster hall is located near the meeting rooms making it convenient for meeting participants to interact with poster presenters during the Conference.
- Posters remain during the entire conference further maximizing visibility.
Poster session participants will have their company name and logo included in programs, abstract publication distributed at the conference, and post-conference proceedings, as well as on our Clean Coal and Power website (www.fossil.energy.gov/news/events/cleancoal) and the usea website (www.usea.org).
Poster Requirements
Posters should present the following:
- Overview of the technology/concept
- Innovative and advantageous aspects of the technology/concept relative to existing options
- Commercial status of the technology/concept, e.g., laboratory, pilot, field demonstration
- Market potential of the technology/concept
- Benefits of the technology/concept related to any political, environmental, economic, social, and technical impacts on energy markets (benefits should be understandable to a non-technical audience)
Other requirements are as follows:
- Dimensions should be 39" high and 63" wide (21" per panel)
- Posters Session setup is the afternoon of Sunday, November 20, 2005.
- Poster presenters are required to submit a brief, one-page abstract. The abstract should be provided in Microsoft Word so that they can be readily incorporated into the conference proceedings.
Cost and Payment
There will be a fee of $100 for each poster. Payments for the poster session can be made by credit card, check, or money order (made payable to USEA). Abstract Submission
As indicated above, Poster presenters are required to submit a brief abstract. The abstracts should be no more than one page in length and should be provided in Microsoft Word so that they can be readily incorporated into the conference proceedings.
