Cheniere Marketing, LLC – FE Dkt. No. 12-99-LNG
The Office of Fossil Energy gives notice of receipt of an application filed on August 31, 2012, by Cheniere Marketing, LLC requesting long-term authorization to export domestically produced liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the proposed Corpus Christi Liquefaction Project to any nation with which the United States currently has, or in the future may enter into, a Free Trade Agreement requiring national treatment for trade in natural gas, and which has or in the future develops the capacity to import LNG via ocean-going carrier. Cheniere seeks to export LNG in an amount up to 782 million MMBtu per year (approximately 767 Bcf/y of natural gas equivalent) over a 25-year period commencing on the earlier of the date of first export or ten years from the date the requested authorization is granted. Order 3164 was issued on 10/16/12.
