Gulf LNG Liquefaction Company, LLC – FE Dkt. No. 12-101-LNG (NFTA)
The Office of Fossil Energy gives notice of receipt of an Application filed on August 31, 2012, by Gulf LNG Liquefaction Company, LLC requesting long-term, multi-contract authorization to export domestically produced liquefied natural gas (LNG) in an amount up to 11.5 million tons per annum (approximately 1.5 Bcf per day of natural gas equivalent) to any country with which the United States does not have a free trade agreement requiring national treatment for trade in natural gas and LNG that has, or in the future develops, the capacity to import LNG and with which trade is not prohibited by U.S. law or policy. Gulf LNG seeks to export LNG from the Gulf LNG Energy, LLC Terminal, located in Pascagoula, Mississippi, for a 20-year period commencing on the earlier of the date of first export or ten years from the date the requested authorization is granted.
