Excelerate Liquefaction Solutions I, LLC – FE Dkt. No. 12-61-LNG
The Office of Fossil Energy gives notice of receipt of an application filed on May 25, 2012, by Excelerate Liquefaction Solutions I, LLC (ELS) requesting long-term authorization to export domestically produced liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the terminal it intends to construct, own, and operate in Calhoun County, Texas, to any nation with which the United States currently has, or in the future may enter into, a Free Trade Agreement requiring national treatment for trade in natural gas and LNG. ELS seeks to export up to 10 million metric tons per year of LNG (equivalent to approximately 1.38 billion cubic feet (Bcf) of natural gas per day and 504 Bcf per year) over a 20-year period commencing on the earlier of the date of first export or seven years from the date the requested authorization is granted. ELS is requesting this authorization both on its own behalf and as agent for other parties who themselves hold title to the LNG at the time of export. No F.R. Notice will be issued. Order 3128 was granted on 8/9/12.
