ORDER VACATING BLANKET AUTHORIZATION

TO IMPORT NATURAL GAS FROM CANADA

Indeck-Oswego Limited Partnership (Indeck-Oswego) and Indeck-Yerkes Limited Partnership (Indeck-Yerkes) are currently authorized in DOE/FE Order No. 1235⁽¹⁾ to import up to an aggregate of nine Bcf of Canadian natural gas on a short-term and spot market basis over a term of two years ending March 31, 1999. In an application filed August 24, 1998, Indeck-Oswego and Indeck-Yerkes requested that the Department of Energy rescind and terminate their joint authorization and grant them separate blanket import authorizations.⁽²⁾

Accordingly, pursuant to section 3 of the Natural Gas Act, the authorization to import natural gas granted to Indeck-Oswego Limited Partnership and Indeck-Yerkes Limited Partnership in DOE/FE Order No. 1235 is hereby vacated.
