ORDER AMENDING AUTHORIZATION
TO IMPORT AND EXPORT NATURAL GAS TO AND FROM CANADA
DOE/FE ORDER NO. 836-C
In DOE/FE Opinion and Order No. 836 (1) (Order 836), issued in FE Docket No. 93-82-NG on August 17, 1993, as amended on July 22, 1996, in DOE/FE Order No. 836-A (2) (Order 836-A), as amended on February 6, 1997, in DOE/FE Order No. 836-B (3) (Order 836-B), Energy Source, Inc. was authorized to import up to 100 Bcf of natural gas and to export up to 100 Bcf of natural gas from and to Canada. The term of the authorization is for two years beginning on the date of first delivery.
On January 20, 1998, PG&E Energy Trading Corporation filed an application to amend Order 836, as amended, to reflect a corporate name change effective April 4, 1997. Accordingly, pursuant to section 3 of the NGA, Order 836, as amended, is further amended to substitute PG&E Energy Trading Corporation for Energy Source, Inc. as the importer and exporter of the natural
gas. All terms and conditions in Order 836, as amended, remain in full force and effect.
